

For the second edition of the SABINE Awards, the fair rewarded one company for each specialisation field for the pertinence of its innovations and its performances in sustainable development. The prize-giving took place during the closing ceremony on 5 February at 5.00 p.m.

The winners were nominated by the following jury:

Mr Vincent Steinmetz, director of CARINNA (Agency for Research & Innovation in Champagne-Ardenne serving research companies and laboratories)

Mr Jérôme Ducuing, Région Champagne Ardenne
Landscaping: NICOLL (Cholet, 49) for the WATERLOC® solution which allows to carry out steep-sided modular ponds for rainwater management. Those modules can fit together so as to make the transport easier. They can pile up to create the necessary water storage volumes. They are implemented under roadways, sidewalks, verges and green spaces.
Envelope: UNIDEK France (from Olen, Belgium) for its range of self-supporting sandwich pannels "AERO", for pitched roofs. Made-to-measure and available in different layers (up to a R of 7,1 m2. K/W), they reduce building sites waste and enable a rapid implementation.
Building & Structures: TD STRUCTURE (Charleville, 08) for its thermo-insulating formwork system with vertical concrete walls. Those light products, with an application of concrete by projection, do not make the operators tired and can correspond to small building sites without cranes.
Interior fitting & Decoration: FORBO SARLINO SAS (Reims, 51) for its supple and synthetic floor covering "SARLON TECH Sparkling", dedicated to hospitals. The surface treatment "OVERCLEAN+" is resistant to betadine and eosin. The first layer contains silver ions which treat bacterial proliferation and nosocomial diseases.
Technical equipment: WATERPRO (Liège, Belgium) for its system which enables to reuse water from bath and shower for the toilets. The frame support owns a 180 L-tank which and filters and treats water. This system allows to save one third of the family water consumption.
Engineering, Design offices & Services: GUEUDET (Reims, 51) with the electrical small van "Maxity", from Renault Trucks. Economical and silent, this model is 550 kg-lighter than its diesel equivalent.
Matérials & Tooling: ENVIRO PLUS (Dormans, 51) for its two paint roller cleaning machines, Rollers Cleaner RC1B et RCi2, which use a 100 % biodégradable vegetable cleaning product, and produce a dry residue bound to dump.
